This sleek looking ship is rated the highest Polar code 6 and Ice class 1A due to her sturdy construction and X-Bow®-Infinity class, which provides high stability in rough weather and the smoothest of sailings.
The ship offers two restaurants including a speciality restaurant with panoramic views, a wellness area and polar spa, swimming pool, jacuzzi, pool bar, the Albatros Nordic Bar, an open deck dining facility, modern lecture lounge and other state-of-the-art amenities.
The 94 comfortable and tastefully decorated staterooms all offer unobstructed sea views, many from their own balcony. Most cabins can provide double or twin bed configuration along with a TV, table, chair, wardrobe and en-suite bathroom with shower.
Category B cabins and above also receive a VIP package which includes unlimited access to the speciality restaurant, coffee machine, upgraded toiletries, stocked mini-bar, free laundry and wine and fruit at the commencement of the cruise.

Deck 3 is an accommodation deck, where the Category D, F and G porthole cabins are located. Here you also find the medical centre, mud room and Zodiac embarkation areas.
Deck 4
Deck 4 is an accommodation deck. Here you find the Category Csp Balcony staterooms, and the Freydis Premium Balcony Suite.
Deck 5
Settle into a comfortable armchair in the Shackleton lecture room on Deck 5 and take in the stunning views through floor to ceiling windows. One of the main meeting places on board, this is where our expedition leader and guides provide their daily informative briefings. Just next door, the Albatros Nordic bar lounge provides warm Nordic hospitality with comfortable seating and complimentary tea and coffee served all day and is the ideal place to relax after an unforgettable day and enjoy a drink with new-found friends. Daily afternoon tea is also served here with freshly made cakes. There’s also a small lending library with numerous fascinating books on Antarctica.
Dine in the attractive Beagle restaurant with tables for four or six and you are free to sit where you wish. The delicious meals are a mixture of buffet service for breakfast and lunch and table service for dinner. The day starts with an impressive breakfast spread, including fresh juices, a wide selection of freshly-baked breads (including gluten-free), Danish pastries, fruit, muesli and cereals, cold cuts, cheese, assorted yogurts, as well as porridge, eggs, bacon and sausages.
Lunch usually consists of an excellent and varied buffet selection, whilst for dinner there’s usually a choice of two soups and salads to start with, followed by a selection of three main courses (one is always a vegetarian option) and a choice of desserts, fruit, ice cream or cheese. There’s a fully stocked bar and extensive selection of wines and beers to accompany your meal too.

Deck 6 is an accommodation deck with Category C Balcony staterooms and Category B Balcony Suites.
Deck 7
Deck 7 is an accommodation deck with the Category E French Balcony suites, Category A Junior Suites and the Two bedroom Brynhilde Family Suite. It is also where the Midnight Sun Pool deck is located. Here there is a large area of open deck space, plus the Fitness and Polar Spa with panoramic windows offering the best possible views in all directions.
Deck 8
If you’re in the mood for something even more special, enjoy a meal in the panorama speciality restaurant on Deck 8 and dine whilst savouring the most memorable and spectacular sea views. Here you also find the observation lounge and the BBQ deck.
