Go West for the epic
Out west, travel is defined by space, scale, and a sense of momentum.
This is a place shaped not just by landscapes, but by moments. A year where Route 66 celebrates 100 years of journeys. Where the United States approaches a milestone anniversary. Where global events bring a renewed energy to the continent. It all adds to the feeling that this is the time to go – to see these places not just as they are, but as they’re being celebrated.
There’s the freedom of the open road, where each mile tells a different story. The cultural depth of the Deep South, where music, food and history intertwine. The vast, cinematic beauty of national parks, where scale becomes the defining feature of every horizon.
In Canada, the experience shifts again – less about movement, more about immersion in wilderness. The Rockies rise around you as you travel aboard the Rocky Mountaineer, tracing glacier-fed lakes, forested valleys and mountain passes that feel both remote and refined.
And then there’s South America – raw, expansive, and elemental. The Amazon surrounds you completely, alive with sound and movement, while the Andes offer landscapes that feel almost untouched by time.
Endless opportunities for discovery. Choose your path with Riviera Travel.
A once-in-a-lifetime experience — three holidays in one. See the Rocky Mountains, visit the Columbia Icefield, and ride the Ice Explorer across the Athabasca Glacier. Look out for bears and abundant wildlife in Banff National Park, and take in stunning Lake Louise and Peyto Lake. Travel aboard the Rocky Mountaineer from the Rockies to coastal Vancouver, then explore wild Alaska by cruise ship — a holiday that just keeps on giving, with so many new experiences.
