Sri Lanka Tours

One of history's most famous explorers, Marco Polo, declared Sri Lanka simply the finest island in the world, and it's known as the Pearl of the Indian Ocean thanks to its astonishing natural beauty.

Our tours to Sri Lanka show you the very best of the country's superb scenery and bring you closer to its diverse wildlife. As soon as you arrive in Colombo, you'll be greeted by warm tropical air, the heady aroma of spices and the vibrant colours of wildflowers. In Yala National Park, you'll hear the sound of a tropical dawn chorus as you wait to spot leopards, water buffalo, saltwater crocodiles, wild boar, sloth bears, and a huge variety of birdlife as well as its most famous residents, elephants - the herd is over 300 strong. Discover four of Sri Lanka's UNESCO World Heritage sites - the Golden Temple Dambulla, the sacred city of Kandy, Sigiriya and the old town Galle Fort - and explore the lush forests of the interior with the vast plantations of tea, rubber and coconuts.

Sri Lanka tours offer an intoxicating mix of nature, adventure, relaxation, history, and cuisine - what are you waiting for?

Kieran Aldridge - Long Haul Product Manager

"An unmissable moment I would recommend to every traveller is climbing the Sigiriya rock. It may feel like a physical challenge, but when you’re at the top of the rock and have the 360° panoramic views of lush greenland and wildlife spotting from above, it’s all worth it. When done at sunrise, seeing the sun start to cast its light across the land is truly special."

An excellent holiday all round. All hotels were really good, some were excellent. Food was top notch at all hotels, with an amazing amount of variety in the buffets both at breakfast and dinner. Travel time was just right for us - no really long days and two nights at most hotels so you didn’t completely feel like you were living out of a suitcase. Activities and trips were really varied as was the landscape.

The Best Place to Travel in Sri Lanka to See Elephants

From my very first visit to a zoo, I have always loved elephants. As my trip to Sri Lanka grew closer, it dawned on me that I would finally get to see these incredible creatures in the wild for the first time.
