On our solo tours to the USA, you'll travel with a group of like-minded fellow explorers, stopping at iconic cities with big personalities.

The USA is a melting pot of cultures, and each state has its own unique blend. On our road trip across the Deep South and Texas, we'll visit five of the southern states - including Georgia, Tennessee, Mississippi, Louisiana and Texas. Together we'll retrace the history of this great nation from the beginning of the modern nation at the Alamo in San Antonio - a symbol of Texas independence, to the tragic assassinations of President John F Kennedy in Dallas and Martin Luther King to the fascinating space race and Moon Landings at NASA's Johnson Space Centre.

Meanwhile, on our Classic California trip, travel from San Francisco down to San Diego, with stops to experience the highlights of this well-loved state along the way, including Yosemite National Park, Los Angeles and more.

On our solo tours to the USA, our experienced Riviera Tour Manager will be with you throughout the tour, providing you with the company and support you need to make your trip stress-free. We know travelling alone can be overwhelming, so our Tour Managers will meet you at your departure airport and fly with you. When that's not possible, another member of our team will be there to welcome you - there'll always be a friendly face. Our solo tours also include welcome drinks or dinner, allowing you to connect with your fellow adventurers. With our solo tour, you'll never have to be alone unless you choose to be.

Travel solo, yet never alone

A Riviera team member will greet you at the airport or Eurostar station, assist you with check-in, and travel with you. Occasionally, this role may be fulfilled by your Tour Manager instead.

The maximum group size of our solo tours is just 25 people. This gives a more intimate and personalised experience. For ocean and river cruising, it depends on your ship size. Our yacht cruises having a maximum of just 19 cabins, so just 19 guests!

Our Riviera Tour Managers are hand-selected for their sociability, empathy and ability to connect with solo travellers. They’ll ensure you feel supported and welcome, making your trip one to remember – and you’re bound to learn a lot from them too!
