Travel solo, yet never alone

The Riviera holiday begins from your departure point

The Tour Manager will meet you at the airport (or Eurostar station), check in and travel there with you. Where this isn’t possible, a Riviera team member will greet you at the airport, help you check in and introduce you to other members in the group.

Less is more with small group sizes

The maximum group size of our solo tours is just 25 people. This gives a more intimate and personalised experience. For ocean and river cruising, it depends on your ship size. Our yacht cruises having a maximum of just 19 cabins, so just 19 guests!

Expert Tour Manager looking after you throughout

Our Riviera Tour Managers specialise in solo travel. They’ll ensure you feel safe and welcome, making your trip one to remember (you should learn lots from them too)!

Break the ice at the welcome dinner

To get to know your fellow travellers, you’ll enjoy a welcome dinner and drink at the beginning of your holiday. It’s the perfect start to the holiday. Your wonderful Tour Manager will ensure you never dine alone (unless you choose to).

More about our solo tours to Finland

Finland is known for its safety, cleanliness, and friendly people, making it an ideal destination for solo travellers. Often referred to as the "Land of a Thousand Lakes" or the "Land of the Midnight Sun," it offers a unique blend of natural beauty, cultural experiences, and modern amenities influenced by the indigenous Sámi people, as well as neighbouring Sweden and Russia.

You'll never be short of things to explore in Helsinki; the capital boasts a wealth of cultural attractions, including the Ateneum Art Museum, the Kiasma Museum of Contemporary Art, the National Museum of Finland, and the Helsinki Music Centre. With time at leisure in the cosmopolitan capital after our guided tour, you can find your own adventure.

Surrounding the capital is the breathtaking natural beauty of the Finnish archipelago, with thousands of islands and pristine coastline, all just a short ferry ride away. These islands include one of Finland's most popular attractions and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the islands of Suomenlinna. This group of fortified islands was built in the mid-18th century by the Swedish government, which controlled Finland at the time, and it witnessed numerous conflicts and sieges.

Our solo tour to Finland also visits Estonia and Latvia, giving you the perfect introduction to these often-overlooked Balkan beauties.

All this and you get to travel with a group of like-minded solo explorers, enjoying the comfort of your own private room and exploring new, exciting places without ever feeling lonely. Meet and connect with your fellow travellers over welcome drinks hosted by our expert Tour Manager, who will break the ice and make introductions, ensuring a seamless and thrilling experience for everyone involved. Sounds fun, doesn't it?
