Travel solo, yet never alone

The Riviera holiday begins from your departure point

The Tour Manager will meet you at the airport (or Eurostar station), check in and travel there with you. Where this isn’t possible, a Riviera team member will greet you at the airport, help you check in and introduce you to other members in the group.

Less is more with small group sizes

The maximum group size of our solo tours is just 25 people. This gives a more intimate and personalised experience. For ocean and river cruising, it depends on your ship size. Our yacht cruises having a maximum of just 19 cabins, so just 19 guests!

Expert Tour Manager looking after you throughout

Our Riviera Tour Managers specialise in solo travel. They’ll ensure you feel safe and welcome, making your trip one to remember (you should learn lots from them too)!

Break the ice at the welcome dinner

To get to know your fellow travellers, you’ll enjoy a welcome dinner and drink at the beginning of your holiday. It’s the perfect start to the holiday. Your wonderful Tour Manager will ensure you never dine alone (unless you choose to).

Unbeatable solo pricing

Our solo pricing has no costly surprises – enjoy unbeatable value which includes everything you’d expect. But you’ll also benefit from our solo-only perks...

More about our solo tours to New Zealand

From Bay of Islands in the north to Milford Sounds and Te Anau in the south, we've prepared an epic adventure to explore this beautiful country's breathtaking mountains, national parks, rivers and all the must-see attractions. Are you coming?

New Zealand has a culture that's deeply rooted in Maori traditions and heritage. In Auckland, we'll discover the monumental carvings, buildings, canoes and taonga (treasures) of the Maori, and the legacy of the peoples of the Pacific and a visit to Omarama takes you back to its history as a rough and ready frontier gold-mining boom town. The scenery here is world-famous, from the snow-capped peaks of the Southern Alps and the heights of Mount Cook to the fiord's cliffs, mountainous peaks and waterfalls of Milford Sounds and the coastal paradise that is Abel Tasman National Park. And it's home to wildlife you won't see anywhere else - you can spot kiwi birds in their natural habitat, observe fur seals and penguins along the coast, and see dolphins swim in the Bay of Islands.

Visit three of the country's top cities. Christchurch, the largest city in the South Island, known as the 'Garden City', it's famous for its parks, gardens and the sere Avon River which runs through the centre. Auckland, New Zealand's largest city is situated between two harbours with two volcanic peaks within its borders - Mount Eden and Rangitoto. And Wellington, the cool capital city. Located at the southwestern tip of the North Island, between Cook Strait and the Reutaka Range, it's famous for its vibrant arts, music and food scenes. It may be little - but it's got a big heart!

And, best of all, you don't have to do any of it alone. Our solo tours are designed with single travellers in mind. Our experienced Tour Manager will be with you every step of the way, providing you with the company and support you need to make your trip stress-free. We understand that travelling alone can be overwhelming, so our friendly Tour Managers will be there to meet you at your departure airport and fly with you. If that's not feasible, don't worry, another member of our team will be there to welcome you with a smile - there'll always be a friendly face to greet you!
