Tall Ship Onshore Excursions

Explore

Sailing exclusively around the Mediterranean, our tall ship cruises offer a range of exciting excursions to satisfy any traveller, no matter their interest.

We'll proudly admit we're obsessed with travel, but what does that actually mean? It means that we love exploring the architecture, history, arts, and gastronomy of each destination - everything that makes a culture unique. And we know you feel the same. That's why our travel experts plan our itineraries to ensure we make the most of every stop.

Most days on a tall ship are filled with a half-day excursion, whether that's a city tour, an introduction to a brand-new town or a more in-depth visit to a specific landmark or attraction. You could spend the morning touring an idyllic Greek island or a late afternoon wandering the shaded streets of a seaside city. The hottest part of the day is usually at leisure, either sailing or moored in port, so you can decide how active you want to be. You could take a messimeri (the Greek's answer to a siesta), cool off in the ship's pool or continue to explore independently.

Seaside towns and cities

With a mixture of beautiful sandy beaches and rocky coastline, the countries along the Med are home to some beautiful and historic seaside towns. Whether you arrive the dramatic cliffs of Dubrovnik, the serene bays of Kotor or the historic harbours of Valletta and Monemvasia, these seaside towns offer a perfect blend of natural beauty, history, and coastal charm.

Small islands and hidden gems

The Mediterranean is home to thousands of islands. While most have heard of Malta, Sicily, Sardinia and Santorini there are almost 100 more inhabited islands you can visit. As well as visiting the larger islands our itineraries also introduce you to some of the less well-known yet equally beautiful islands that most tourists miss.
