More about our ocean cruises to Spain
Spain is one of the largest countries in Europe, and it's brimming with centuries of history. Our ocean cruises to Spain offer a rich array of cultural, historical and natural experiences. As you'd expect from the birthplace of Picasso, Malaga is a cool cultural hub with 30-plus museums to explore. Almeria, located at the foot of the Sierra de Los Filabres mountain range, boasts a diverse coastline with sandy beaches, secluded coves, vertigo-inducing sheer cliffs, and a UNESCO-listed Alcazaba - all perfect for exploration. Cartagena's rich history is evident in its Roman ruins, ancient port, and naval museums, providing a deep dive into Spain's maritime heritage.
Beyond the coast are the Beautiful Balearic Islands. The most famous, Ibiza, may be known for its nightlight, but beyond the clubs, you'll find beautiful beaches, serene countryside and a rich history, especially in the island's most historic medieval town, Dalt Vila. In the largest of the Balearics, Mallorca, you'll explore the highlights of Palma, including its famous Gothic cathedral, the Royal Palace of Almudaina (the official Mallorca residence of the King and Queen of Spain) and the hilltop, Bellver Castle. Finally, Menorca is the laid-back little sister of Mallorca. It's home to rugged landscapes, beaches - as yet unspoiled by hordes of holidaymakers, and towns with French, British, and Catalan influences.
Uncover all this and more while travelling on our beautiful four-masted tall ships - a nautical experience from yesteryear. Everyone loves the experience of being on deck – the ropes, stays, winches, the polished mahogany and gleaming brass of the ship's bell - but there's nothing better than the moment our captain unfurls the sails.
