Latest update - Middle East disruption

Following the ongoing situation in the Middle East, we want to reassure our guests that your safety and wellbeing are – and always will be – our top priority. We’re closely monitoring developments and continue to follow the latest guidance from the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO). At the same time, we’re working closely with our airline and operational partners to make sure travel arrangements are carefully managed and we’re responding promptly to any updates. As always, we’re here for you. We’re on hand with 24/7 operational support, and all of our tours are accompanied by Riviera representatives in destination – so there’s always someone on hand to help. If your holiday is affected, we’ll contact you directly to talk through your travel arrangements and next steps. If you are due to travel and haven’t heard from us, there’s no need to take action at this time – we’ll be in touch as soon as possible if there’s anything you need to know.

The Technical Bit

Entry Period: Entries close at 5:30pm on 29 October 2025.

  • Winner Notification: The winner will be announced after the competition closing date and contacted privately via Facebook or Instagram. We will not contact anyone before this date.

How to Enter

  • To enter the competition, users must answer the question in the comments of the competition post.
  • By participating, users give permission for their submissions to be reshared.
  • Entrants do not need to follow us or like the post to participate but must answer the stated question.

Eligibility

  • Open to UK residents aged 18 or over.
  • Excludes Riviera Travel employees, their families, and employees of associated companies or agents.
  • Only one entry per person, per day, per platform will be accepted. Duplicate entries on a single platform will not be counted.

Prizes

  • The prize voucher can only be used on a brand-new Riviera Travel holiday booking.
  • The prize is non-transferable, non-negotiable, and cannot be exchanged for cash.
     

Winner Selection and Notification

  • One winner will be selected at random from valid entries that meet the terms and conditions.
  • The winner must respond to our direct message within two days. If no response is received, we reserve the right to select an alternative winner.
  • The winner will be announced on or after 29 October 2025.
  • The prize is a trip for two on our 16-day South Africa tour itinerary for a date in 2026. The exact date will be confirmed shortly after closing. The full itinerary can be viewed at
