Inspired by traditional Burmese river vessels and colonial-era steamships, the MV Bengal Ganga offers a unique blend of heritage charm and contemporary flair.

Originally built in 2004 and recently refreshed, the ship now features an eclectic 1970s-inspired décor that brings together wood, metal, and leather to complement the gleaming Burmese teak floors and decks.

With just 20-24* cabins, the Bengal Ganga offers an intimate and relaxed cruising experience. The newly introduced design elements—curved motifs, rounded edges, and bold colour accents—are paired with striking artwork, creating a stylish yet restful atmosphere throughout.

Each cabin opens onto a communal balcony, inviting you to unwind and take in the ever-changing scenery of the Ganges. Whether you're enjoying the golden glow of sunset or the quiet rhythm of the river, the Bengal Ganga surrounds you with old-world elegance and modern comfort.

*4 suite cabins are convertible to 2 separate deluxe cabins.

Deck Plan

The Sun Deck

The Sun Deck is the perfect place to take in the ever-changing scenery of the Ganges. Located at the top of the ship, it offers a peaceful retreat with both open and shaded areas. Here, you’ll find the outdoor lounge with comfortable seating, sun loungers for relaxing under the sky, and a small spa for moments of indulgence. The wheelhouse is also located on this deck, where the ship’s journey is expertly guided by the captain and their crew.

The Upper Deck

The Upper Deck is home to all Deluxe Suites (some may be converted into deluxe cabins), offering a refined and restful space to retreat to after a day of exploring. This deck also features the welcoming salon and bar—a sociable hub where guests can enjoy a drink, unwind with a book, or simply relax in the inviting atmosphere. With easy access to both cabins and the ship’s social spaces, the Upper Deck strikes a perfect balance between privacy and socialising.

The Main Deck

The Main Deck is the heart of daily life on board. It houses the elegant dining room, where guests gather for every meal in a relaxed and sociable setting. This deck is also home to Deluxe Cabins, offering comfortable accommodation close to the ship’s culinary centre.
