We start our Norwegian adventure in its vibrant capital, Oslo, before a short stay in the remote frontier town of Longyearbyen. To many Norway is synonymous with fjords - the country has the highest concentration of them in the world and on our voyage we'll navigate two of the country's most beautiful Hornsund and Bellsund and marvel at the untouched snowscapes of Northwest Spitsbergen National Park. Adding to this incredible experience, we'll also venture as far as the 80th parallel - just 10° south of the North Pole - and attempt to visit the ice edge, an otherworldly frontier where sea and ice meet. As we travel Gaze out over glaciers and snow-capped peaks, spot Arctic fox Svalbard reindeer or maybe even a humpback whale - the wildlife here is as spectacular as the landscapes.
