The Highlights of Your Journey to Slovenia
Lake Bled & The Julian Alps: No trip to Slovenia is complete without the "picture-postcard" view of Lake Bled. Sail in a traditional pletna boat to the tiny island church and explore the medieval castle perched on a rocky cliff.
Ljubljana: Europe’s Greenest Capital: Wander the pedestrianised Old Town, cross the famous Triple Bridge, and enjoy a coffee by the willow-lined Ljubljanica river. It’s a city that feels like a fairy tale, but with a modern, eco-friendly soul.
The Adriatic Coast & Piran: Discover Slovenia’s "sliver of coastline." The town of Piran, with its Venetian-style architecture and narrow winding streets, offers a stunning Mediterranean contrast to the Alpine north.
Hidden Gems: Postojna & Lipica Go underground on a train through the magnificent Postojna Caves or visit the world-famous Lipizzaner horses at the Lipica Stud Farm.

Popular FAQS
UK citizens do not need a visa to visit Slovenia for short stays of up to 90 days within any 180-day period. To enter Belgium, your UK passport must have been issued within the last 10 years and be valid for at least three months beyond your planned departure date from Slovenia. If staying longer than three days, you must register with the local police, but any registered hotel will do this for you.
Slovenia's main international airport is Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport, also known as Brnik Airport. It's located in the village of Zgornji Brnik, about 15 miles northwest of Ljubljana city centre, nestled at the foothills of the Kamnik–Savinja Alps. The airports you travel to and from will be clearly stated in the booking process and your travel documents.
The currency used in Slovenia is the Euro (EUR). We recommend taking some cash for smaller purchases. However, credit and debit cards are widely accepted in most places.
