In Stari Bar, the old town will have you questioning whether you're in Europe or Middle Earth; its Byzantine fortress casts its imposing shadow over the ruins - much like Helm's Deep from The Lord of the Rings.
Also on the must-see list is Budva. Beside the picturesque harbour sits a Venetian old town with views across the Adriatic. And, finally, we'll spend time in Kotor, which nestles below a mountainside in one of Montenegro's most dramatic settings.
