Price Includes

The price of this holiday is per person, based on two people sharing a twin room. Single rooms are subject to availability at the relevant supplement (date dependant) of £289 to £419 per person. Nine nights accommodation in four or five-star hotels (Ranthanmbore is three-star); daily breakfast, two lunches and two dinners; scheduled flights to/from Delhi; guided tours of New and Old Delhi, Agra and the Taj Mahal, Fatehpur Sikri, two game drives in Ranthambore, Jaipur city tour, visit to Amber Fort, walking tour of Havelis at Alsisar; all local transport by train or coach as described; porterage of one item of luggage per person; the services of a Riviera Tour Manager. B.B. For 2009 Jaipur hotel is the Golden Tulip and the Heritage hotel is the Alsisar Mahal in the village of Alsisar.

Visas and Health Matters

All British passport holders require a visa for India. Please ensure that you have at least two empty pages in your passport and that it is valid for at least 6 months after your return date.

Single entry tourist visas cost £30 per person, plus a £8.86 service charge, and can be applied for in person or by post via the India Visa Application Centres in either London, Birmingham or Edinburgh, depending on your home address. If applying by post a self addressed stamped envelope is also required. Whilst the travelling schedule shall pose no problems for people of any age in normal physical health, we would point out that in visiting a number of historical sites, paths may be uneven and uphill and we often enjoy walking tours of the main sights. Therefore this holiday may not be suitable for clients of greatly impaired mobility. In the tropics temperatures and humidity levels will also be quite high for most of the year. Please consult your GP regarding the appropriate inoculations required for India at least a month before departure. Hotel update

Please note our hotel in Delhi is now the newly renovated 5-star Lalit, previously the Grand Intercontinental, located right in the centre of New Delhi, close to Connaught Place. All rooms are airconditioned and have every modern amenity.
